LARGE DATE - DATE PUNCHED THAT WAS INTENDED FOR SILVER DOLLAR! A huge date - scarcer than the 1854-O in terms of overall rarity. TOTAL KNOWN ONLY 100-125. Surfaces are usually heavily abraded. This variety has a distinctive appearance - a number have a peculiar sunken appearance. ORIGINAL SURFACE COLORATION and one of the few with CAC CERTIFICATION.

Almost all are heavily abraded. Original surface coloration. TOTAL KNOWN ONLY 250-350+ ------A RARE NEW ORLEANS MINT EAGLE in UNCIRCULATED CONDITION.
